Safety first. Never tap your phone while driving. Mount it and use your voice, or let a passenger run the test. Riders: only change settings when you're stopped.

What testers try

Weather on your routePlan a trip and check the weather banner at the top and the radar button.
Ask OrbitTap the mic and ask for gas, food, or "when will I get there?"

For testers: how to report

Sign in firstSettings, then Account, with the email from your invite. Your Beta testing card appears at the top of Settings, with your checklist and this week's focus.
Report it right awaySettings, then Help & feedback, then Report a problem. Pick what went wrong, when, how often and how bad. A few taps.
We see the momentOrbit keeps a short record of what the app did (never where you are), so "Just now" shows us exactly what happened.
Add a screenshotA picture of what you saw is the best clue. Take one when something's off, then add it to your report.
Watch for repliesHelp & feedback, then Your reports: where each report stands, and our questions. Answer right there.
Sunday check-inFour quick questions each week, about two minutes. Skip anything.
Never tap your phone while driving. Report when you're stopped, or have a passenger do it.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Everything in Orbit is free while it's in testing, Orbit Pro and Orbit Family included.

What do I need?

An iPhone and the free TestFlight app. CarPlay is a bonus, not a must.

How do you pick testers?

We're starting with a small group, and we look for a mix of places, phones and ways of driving, plus people who can describe a problem clearly. If you're not in the first group, we may invite you later.

Why the email?

TestFlight invites go to the email on your Apple ID, so use that one. We only use it for the beta and delete applications 6 months after you apply.

How do I send feedback?

In Orbit: Settings › Help & feedback. Problems include the details we need to fix things fast, and you see exactly what's sent first.

Can I stop any time?

Yes. Delete the app, or leave the beta in TestFlight.
