Keeping family in your Orbit.
Family-locator apps tell you where everyone is. Orbit puts your family on the map you're already driving with, on your phone and in CarPlay, and gets you to them in one tap.
- On the map you drive with. Everyone shows up right on your Orbit map and on your car's screen in CarPlay. No switching apps at a red light to check.
- Drive to them, in one tap. Tap someone and go. If they're on the move, your route follows them, so you meet where they are, not where they were.
- The whole picture on one card. Driving or stopped, the street they're on, when it was updated, how far from you, and their battery.
- Crash alert, on for everyone. In a car or on a motorcycle, if Orbit feels a crash it asks "Are you OK?" out loud. No answer in a minute, and the whole family gets an urgent alert with where they are and directions there. If someone turns it off, the family is told. Free, always.
- Everyone chooses to share. Each person joins on their own phone with their own account, confirms they're 13 or older and agrees to share. Anyone can pause, and the family sees "Location paused", never a mystery.
- Invite by text. Send a code in a message. They tap it, Orbit opens, and they're in.
- Private by design. Only your family sees your location. Never sold, never used for ads, deleted when you leave.
Orbit Family vs. a separate family-locator app
Also in Orbit Family: alerts when someone arrives at or leaves places like home and school, as many places as you like; the last 30 days of drives to look back on and replay, with speeds against each road's posted limit; a pickup countdown; a weekly report; and a Learner Log for a teen's permit hours.
