Nightly lane closures will begin Sunday, May 17 from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for resurfacing work. Lanes closedNorthboundReplacement of the pedestrian bridge over I-71 and I-471, between VanMeter Street and Gilbert Avenue, and replacement of the pedestrian bridge over Gilbert Avenue (U.S. 22). The project also includes construction of a new shared use path bridge over I-71, I-471 and U.S. 22, and construction of a new stairway. Road closedNorthboundAs part of the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project, the ramp from I-71 North to Second Street will be closed for demolition and reconstruction. The closure will go into effect July 16, 2026, and will remain in effect through late fall of 2028.
